A new nightmare is descending on us as Ireland’s only professional scare house attraction, The Nightmare Realm, is returning to Cork this year for the month of October with a more terrifying experience than ever before.  The thrilling walk-through horror house is a must for all thrill seekers and Halloween fans who are looking for thrills and chills.

Venture deep inside your worst nightmares from the 5th to 31st of October at The Nightmare Realm Cork www.thenightmarerealm.ie
There is no escape from The Nightmare Realm. Venture deep inside your worst nightmares from the 5th to 31st of October at The Nightmare Realm Cork www.thenightmarerealm.ie

Face your fears and live your nightmare!

The Nightmare Realm is an asylum of the damned and will prey on your deepest fears and nightmares, turning them into a deadly reality. You will need to keep your wits about you as you walk through the haunted building as danger lurks in every shadow. And try not to lose your head when you encounter this year’s evil clowns, Shivers and Badger.

The Nightmare Realm is an elaborate and high-tech production that uses movie-quality props, prosthetics and effects to put you in your own nightmare!   The "Realm Team" is made up of talented designers, scenic artists, craftsmen, sound & lighting crews, and make-up artists who work hard to create a terrifying experience. The Nightmare Realm employs actors who are not only trained in the art of psychological scare tactics but transformed via the use of professional masks, costumes, makeup and prosthetics so that they become weird and deranged characters, truly the stuff of nightmares!

The Nightmare Realm was established in Tralee in 2009 and has traumatised in excess of 50,000 visitors to date. Each year the event is changed so no need to worry about repetition and this year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever!

To help people face their fears, and to ease the anxiety of those who were truly terrified last year and perhaps too afraid to face the Realm again, The Nightmare Realm are offering ‘Zombie Insurance.  The scare level in the Realm will be reduced for the 'policy holder' as the scare team in the realm will tone down the terror. Zombie Insurance will only be available from the venue at the ticket desk on entry.

The Nightmare Realm will open at Custom House Quay (next to the Sextant, across from The Clarion Hotel) in Cork on 5th October.

Not for the faint hearted, tickets start from €12 for adults and €10 for students and are available to purchase in advance from www.thenightmarerealm.ie

Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday weekly from 6pm to 11pm.  This event is strictly over 13's.
